A celebration of poetry, diversity & creativity
The Glass Tree combines original poetry with art made by children from an international school in Norway.
This intricately designed book presents over 200 poems inspired by the Japanese minimalist styles of Haiku, Senryu, Tanka, Than-bauk and Freeform. The poems address many aspects of life including nature, emotions, and relationships. Topics also address universal themes of loss, healing, gratitude and forgiveness. It also includes:
• Foreword by Jon Davis, award-winning US poet
• Detailed description of the workshop that inspired the book
• Martha’s expert commentary on the artwork and how it relates to the poem that inspired it
